Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing store activities, ensuring performance targets, scheduling, and fostering team development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing action plans to enhance store operations.
• Communicate job roles and expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities for team growth and performance improvement.
• Maintain a cohesive team environment based on company values.
• Stay informed about the local market competition for strategic adjustments.
• Provide valuable product feedback and assist in the hiring process.
• Ensure adherence to inventory and cash control policies.
• Address customer concerns effectively and maintain store standards.
• Monitor stock levels, merchandise products, and ensure product quality and presentation.
• Supervise daily operations, escalate issues when necessary, and prioritize customer service.
• Adhere to company policies, uphold document confidentiality, and fulfill assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and equipment handling.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• High school diploma preferred, with 3+ years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
