Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supervising day-to-day store activities, improving operating results, and developing the team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring store performance, managing schedules, identifying training opportunities, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $24.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Monitor competitive environment and provide feedback on products.
• Participate in store personnel interviews and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and quality of products.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Prior management experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience required.
• Prior management experience preferred.
