CDL-A Hazmat and Doubles Truck Driver

Job Description

We are currently seeking a CDL-A Hazmat and Doubles Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Honolulu, HI. As a City Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining strong customer relationships through efficient delivery and pickup of cargo. Our drivers benefit from using up-to-date technology to perform their tasks effectively and contribute to our low turnover rate.

Responsibilities

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, primarily near the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers following dock worker procedures and utilizing appropriate techniques and technology.
• Adapt to varying duties and schedules based on terminal location requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred; training available for those with less experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Stable work record, strong work ethic, and safe driving history required.
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
