Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, analyzing bid proposals, and ensuring alignment with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Managers on negotiation points with contractors.
• Analyze bids and create reports for awarding projects to qualified bidders.
• Provide pricing data to enhance consistency in pricing structures.
• Monitor market pricing for critical trades and propose cost-saving opportunities.
• Work on evaluating bids, creating analytical reports, and approving contract pricing.
• Train and develop team members to maintain a motivated workforce.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost indices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
