Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, working closely with divisional real estate teams to assess construction bids and ensure compliance with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Assist in determining appropriate scopes for projects and provide pricing data and practices to ensure consistency.
• Analyze bids and prepare reports for project awards.
• Monitor pricing data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review contract pricing and conduct market pricing reviews.
• Train team members and uphold document security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, RS Means software, and construction cost indices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
