Job Description

We are looking for a talented Cook to join our team at Charter Senior Living. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals, contributing to the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department, and ensuring the satisfaction of our residents through your culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and leaders to address any food service issues promptly.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and assist with production or service lines.
• Follow health department, safety, and infection control practices.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and properly store food items.
• Assist in maintaining a professional and compassionate attitude towards residents.
• Perform dishwashing duties as required.

Requirements

• Serve Safe Certification may be required.
• Willingness to work with the elderly population.
• Proficiency in English and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform tasks for up to eight hours with breaks.
• Background check is mandatory for employment.
