Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Calumet Trace Senior Living. As a member of our Dining Services Department, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while ensuring exceptional service for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and resolve any food service issues with team members promptly.
• Prepare meals and assist in production or service lines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Follow health department, safety, and infection control practices.
• Clean work areas, maintain equipment, and properly store food items.
• Assist in servicing resident concerns and complaints professionally and respectfully.

Requirements

• Serve Safe certification as required by state regulations.
• Willingness to work with the elderly population.
• Proficiency in English and ability to follow instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and undergo a background check.
