Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Experience in retail environment preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior work experience in retail is advantageous
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
