Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store associate team, your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory management and follow cash policies and procedures
- Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and handle data confidentially
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Skilled in operating cash registers and store equipment
- Experience with general cleaning tasks and understanding company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience desired
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
