Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking products, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store environment. As part of the Aldi team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in all aspects of the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and merchandise displays neatly.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and general store issues.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and place products of up to 45 pounds on shelves at different heights.
• Perform various physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, lifting, and walking around the store.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
