Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a valued Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will involve merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to the highest standard.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills daily.
- Process purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management.
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and other concerns to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Comply with company policies, prioritize security, and maintain data confidentiality.
- Perform additional assigned tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Competent in using equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Ability to meet alcoholic beverage handling requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
