Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming to customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask efficiently

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
