Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash management policies to minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register.
  • Safe operation of necessary equipment.
  • Ability to maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work well independently and within a team.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Meet necessary requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
