Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register and equipment
  • General cleaning and maintenance skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous
