We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience at Aldi.

Job Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with the team and management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in cashiering and customer service
  • Able to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Capable of multitasking and following company policies
  • Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Combination of education and experience considered
