Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves neatly
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with the team and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies with respect to security and confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task professionally

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail work experience preferred
• A combination of education and experience
