Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week, starting at $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
