Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
  • Assist customers, communicate with team members and management.
  • Provide feedback on products and inventory, participate in store inventory counts.
  • Follow cash handling policies, uphold company procedures, and ensure document security.
  • Perform stock duties, operate equipment, and meet company standards for cleaning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
  • Familiarity with operating store equipment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work in a team.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
