Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital member, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall appearance. Your focus on delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team will enhance the overall shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
• Conduct store inventory counts according to guidelines and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and follow company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and handle multiple tasks.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
