Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with all established company policies, procedures, and security measures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Capability to maintain cleanliness standards and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
