Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join ALDI's team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow all company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt customer service and operating a cash register.
- Able to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet any state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
