Job Description

We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at Metro Dentalcare, located in St. Louis Park, MN on Excelsior Blvd. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within our practice. This is a full-time position from Monday to Thursday, offering competitive benefits, continued education, and a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class patient care and support as an elite clinical provider.
• Work collaboratively with the patient care team to ensure patients receive personalized attention and care.
• Participate in mentor programs and educational opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
• Utilize cutting-edge technology and supplies to deliver exceptional dental care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in MN and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs.
• New graduates or individuals with years of clinical experience are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation, including lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Flexibility to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing may be required.
