Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day store operations, developing action plans to enhance performance, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to support team growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations to maintain our competitive position.
- Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
- Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day team operations and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
