Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day store operations, developing action plans to enhance performance, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to support team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations to maintain our competitive position.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
  • Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day team operations and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
