Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and deliver exceptional customer service
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and stock merchandise up to 45 pounds
• Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk about the store
• Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Able to operate equipment and maintain store cleanliness
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet any state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience advantageous
