Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory procedures and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company regulations.
- Follow established procedures, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Capable of providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment.
- Adept at general cleaning tasks and compliance with company standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
