Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store maintains a clean and organized environment, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and lift items up to 45 pounds.
• Perform various physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and walking.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
• Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task efficiently.
• Meet state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
