Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, handling cashier duties, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements related to handling and selling alcoholic beverages
• Prior retail experience is preferred
