Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. From merchandising products to providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to maintaining our store's high standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses
- Follow company policies and procedures to safeguard data and documents
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to maintain store cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
- Prior retail experience and high school diploma preferred
