Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. You'll collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the store operates smoothly.

• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in your role
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the role
