Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate and play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized and provides exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, you will merchandise products, cashier, and maintain cleanliness to create a pleasant shopping environment for our customers. This position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any store issues.
• Take part in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask professionally.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
