Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, efficient cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Engage in activities like shelving, bending, lifting, and walking around the store.
• Ensure store tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Understand and implement company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent is acceptable.
