Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By working with the ALDI team collaboratively, you will enhance the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Comply with company policies, maintain security and confidentiality of data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks as per company standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
