Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and present merchandise neatly.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies for document security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to offer courteous customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
• Competent in using store equipment and performing cleaning duties.
• Proficiency in applying company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
