Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance. Your focus on customer service excellence and collaboration with the ALDI team will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and other issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow and uphold company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Complete any other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Able to perform cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask efficiently.
- Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience offering equivalent knowledge.
