Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, you will collaborate with team members to create an outstanding shopping experience for customers. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues for improvement.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and uphold company procedures.
- Follow established company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet any state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
