Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any store issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
Physical Demands
Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, stand, bend, and perform various tasks around the store.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties.
- Interpret and apply company policies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
