Job Description - Full-Time Store Associate

We are looking for a full-time Store Associate to join our dedicated team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment while providing top-notch customer service.

Job Type

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and general store issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Age requirement: 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• General cleaning abilities to maintain store standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
