Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, and maintaining a clean store environment. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Perform tasks such as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Operate equipment and tools as required for store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment and follow company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
