Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team and provide top-notch customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
