Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for customers. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and effectively stock shelves.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Exceptional customer service and cash handling skills.
• Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
