Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to deliver an exceptional shopping experience to customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and within a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
