Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring that our store maintains a high standard of cleanliness. Your focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will elevate the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and support shoppers during their visit
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe use of equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and company policies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work effectively in a team or independently
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with handling and selling regulations for alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience (preferred)
