Job Description

Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) where you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You'll work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
