Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide exceptional customer shopping experiences. As part of the ALDI team, you will collaborate with team members and display outstanding customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow established company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years and above
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent education and experience combination considered
