Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of our store. Your role will involve enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service and collaboration with the Aldi team.

Position Details:

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Follow company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Good customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate necessary equipment and follow company procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
