Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register and equipment efficiently and accurately.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
