Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members and the store management team to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold ALDI's standards.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with established policies/protocols while maintaining document confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of handling cleaning tasks per company standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
• Meet state/local requirements for beverage handling/sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience will be considered
