Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by executing various tasks such as product stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean environment for our valued customers. You will work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash procedures
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register
- Capable of using store equipment and executing cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
