Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will have the opportunity to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Role Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
