Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases and maintain neat displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Conduct store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Perform general cleaning duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Demonstrated customer service and cash register proficiency
• Operate equipment efficiently and safely
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience is beneficial
